Venture Teams is governed by an independent board of men and women who serve a three-year term and meet a minimum of four times a year. The board operates as a policy setting group (based on the Carver governance model) and as such determines the outcomes for the organization. The Board empowers the Executive Director to determine and implement these policies as strategies in order to achieve these ends.Use your leadership and administrative gifts as a VTI board member! Rod is a 10-year veteran of Venture Teams International as a team and
staff member and travelled on the first VTI Friends & Followers
team to India in 1979/80. Director since 1993.

Mark Sorell is an ex officio member of the board by virtue of his role as Executive Director. He attends board meetings and presents reports but does not have a vote. On staff since 1993 (see Staff for more information on Mark).
