Venture Teams is governed by an independent board of men and women who serve a three-year term and meet a minimum of four times a year. The board operates as a policy setting group (based on the Carver governance model) and as such determines the outcomes for the organization. The Board empowers the Executive Director to determine and implement these policies as strategies in order to achieve these ends.
