Venture Teams is governed by an independent board of men and women who serve a three-year term and meet a minimum of four times a year. The board operates as a policy setting group (based on the Carver governance model) and determines the goals and overall direction for the organization. The Board empowers the Executive Director to implement these policies in order to achieve these goals.
