Discovery Lodge Business & Food Services Managers
Ron & Taya, along with RJ and Isabel, recently moved out to Discovery Lodge from Calgary. Ron, as Discovery Lodge Business Manager, is responsible for rentals and bookins and Taya, as Food Services Manager, is responsible for food services for training camps and renters. They are both passionate about serving through practical means. (On staff since January 2009).

Children's Ministry Director, Family AdVenture Coordinator, AIR Team Advisors
Gary and Joanne  joined the VTI in August 2002, with Gary taking on the role of Children's Ministry Coordinator. Their extensive experience in education combined with their love for the arts makes them an ideal fit. Gary also plays a large part in assisting with VTI promotion through video production, PR materials and T-shirt design.

Director of Internships, Executive Committee Chair, Training Camp Director
Helmuth currently serves as the Director of Internships, administering the academic program of our Friends & Followers teams, which enables team members to use the year for academic credit at various Bible colleges. He is also the Training Camp Director, organizing all the training events through the course of a year, which includes the training camps in July, September and October. (On staff and teams since 1988).

Assistant Director, Mobilization
Michael assists Mobilization Director, Coralie, with mobilization, representing VTI at mission conferences and following up with prospective team members. Michael also itinerates the Friends & Followers' North American tours, teaches puppetry and fills in wherever needed (driving, maintenance). Michael is an alumnus of F&F 04/05, Encore 05/06 and GAP 2006.

Accountant
John is a CMA and is responsible for all aspects of accounting at VTI: payroll, managing benefits and insurance, financial statements, accounts payables and accounts receivables (supervises the accounts receivables function). John & Gail recently moved to Manitoba, but John is able to continue on in his role through the wonders of remote technology. He splits his time between VTI and Action International (On staff since October 2004).

Receptionist
Evelyn comes into the office on a part-time basis to answer the phone, file, stuff prayer letters and process the mail. Before starting at VTI, Evelyn was on contract with Samaritan's Purse assisting with Operation Christmas Child. Prior to that she spent many years working as a secretary in the oil industry in Calgary and Houston. (On staff since April 2007)
