Gary and Joanne  joined the VTI in August 2002, with Gary taking on the role of Children's Ministry Coordinator. Their extensive experience in education combined with their love for the arts makes them an ideal fit. Gary also plays a large part in assisting with VTI promotion through video production, PR materials and T-shirt design. Gary is also the Family adVENTURE Director: organizing, planning and leading these annual family-oriented mission trips. Joanne is currently working for the Calgary Board of Education as a substitute teacher. She assists with training and discipleship of team members when she is able. The Edwards family is excited about their roles with VTI and look forward to a strong partnership through ministry in the coming years. Gary & Joanne have two children: Rochelle and Brett.
